NEW DELHI. Members of the Tibetan Youth Congress were arrested by Delhi police on Thursday as they demonstrated outside the Chinese Embassy in New Delhi against the centenary celebrations of the Communist Party of China (CCP).

According to the ANI news agency, dozens of Tibetan nationals in exile gathered at the Chinese embassy to protest the CCP’s cruelty and brutality and to send the message that they are standing united against it. However, their forced eviction sparked outrage on Twitter where many Indian users opposed the police brutality.
