FGC Sokoto opens tenders for 2022 investment projects

No less than forty two construction companies have submitted bids for 2022 various investment projects to be executed by the Federal Government College, Sokoto.

Sa’idu explained that four capital projects are planned for 2022, including the rehabilitation of ICT centers and the digging of two solar-powered boreholes.

While giving the breakdown of companies submitted by the companies, he explained that 11 companies showed interest in Lots 1, 5 in Lots 2 and 15 in Lots 3 while 11 companies submitted call letters. offers for lots 4.

He further assured that after the opening of the technical documents, the school will go to the technical evaluation, where he said that all the necessary documents including the tax receipt and other relevant documents will be consulted. .

Speaking earlier in his remarks, the principal of the school, Mr. Shehu Dahiru, who is also the chairman of the bidding process, assured that the bidding process will be conducted in a transparent manner. .

He explained that the school in order to ensure that justice is served to all contractors, the school has engaged anti-corruption agencies as well as state civil societies to observe the process.

He called on the representatives of the contracting companies to accept the outcome of the process in good faith, saying that only four of them will end up getting the job, while others may have a chance next time.
