Tamil Nadu Governor Rajinikanth, Other Leaders Join ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ Campaign

Tamil Nadu Governor RN Ravi, Tamil movie superstar Rajinikanth and several leaders joined the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign on Saturday as an enthusiastic public displayed their patriotism by unfurling the national tricolor atop their homes.

The tricolor flew atop several houses across Tamil Nadu in response to the Centre’s call to hoist national flags from August 13-15 as part of the national campaign to mark the 75th anniversary of India’s independence. ‘India.

Governor Ravi, who led the celebrations here, distributed the flags to the students of Thakkar Bapa Vidhyalaya to mark the campaign at Raj Bhavan.

Calling on the people to honor and salute the freedom fighters, martyrs and leaders on this Independence Day, Rajinikanth said people should celebrate the 75th Independence Day with pride.

“It’s the 75th anniversary of India‘s independence, our homeland,” he said, sharing his video on Twitter.

In his special message, Rajinikanth said, “As a mark of respect and as an expression of our unity for all the thousands of people who have suffered untold struggles and miseries, pain and humiliation for all those thousands of people who selflessly sacrificed their lives for this freedom…for all these freedom fighters, martyrs and leaders, let us honor and salute them with gratitude beyond caste, religion and politics .
